Conditions
The injuries we see — and what we actually do about them.
Each page below is a real, plain-English breakdown of how we approach that condition. No filler. Every case starts with a one-on-one assessment by a registered physiotherapist from our physiotherapy clinic in North Vancouver on Marine Drive. If your problem isn't in the six we feature, scroll down for the full list — we cover 50+ conditions across sports, spine, upper and lower limb, and claims.

Common questions
About our approach.
Do I need a referral to book a physiotherapy assessment?+
No. Physiotherapy in BC is a primary-contact profession regulated by the College of Physical Therapists of BC (CPTBC). You can book directly without a GP or specialist referral. Some extended health plans require a referral for reimbursement — check your plan before your first visit.
What is the difference between sport physiotherapy and general physiotherapy?+
A sport physiotherapist has completed additional credentialled post-graduate training through Sport Physiotherapy Canada (SPC) on top of the base physiotherapy license. The added scope covers high-load return-to-sport programming, sport-specific concussion management, and field-of-play care. Both are licensed physiotherapists. The difference matters most for competitive athletes and complex return-to-play cases.
Do you treat conditions that aren't on this list?+
Almost certainly yes. The conditions above cover the most common presentations at a sport physiotherapy clinic. If your injury isn't listed, call or send a message — the team will confirm whether it falls within scope and which clinician is the best fit.
Are ICBC and WorkSafeBC claims covered?+
Yes. Medstar is a pre-approved ICBC provider and handles WorkSafeBC claims directly. Under BC's Enhanced Care model, the first 12 weeks of physiotherapy after a motor vehicle accident are pre-approved — you pay nothing for covered visits once you have your claim number.
