Getting to 1325 Marine Drive when you're not at your best.

The first week after a crash often comes with stiffness, headache, or driving anxiety. Here are the practical options for getting to the clinic without making it worse.

Getting to the clinic: key points.

  • The clinic is at 1325 Marine Drive, North Vancouver, BC V7P 3E5.
  • On-site parking is available; street parking varies by signage.
  • TransLink buses run along Marine Drive — check the current schedule before you travel.
  • Rideshare and family drop-off are the standard fallback in the first week.

By car.

The clinic is on Marine Drive, which is the main east-west artery on the North Shore. Whether you are coming from Lonsdale, Park Royal, or further west or east, the drive itself is straightforward — the only question is whether you should be the one driving in the first place.

If your neck is stiff enough that you cannot do a clean shoulder-check, do not drive to the appointment. Rideshare, a family-member drop-off, or transit are better options for the first week or two. ICBC does not pay for the trip itself, but the alternative — making the injury worse on the way to your appointment — is the worse of two costs.

By transit.

Several TransLink routes serve Marine Drive in North Vancouver, connecting Lonsdale Quay (and the SeaBus from downtown), Park Royal, and the surrounding neighbourhoods. Specific bus numbers and timings change from time to time, so check the current schedule at translink.ca or in the TransLink app before you set out.

From downtown Vancouver, the typical route is SeaBus to Lonsdale Quay, then a Marine Drive bus westbound. Allow extra time in the first couple of weeks — a stiff neck makes standing on a moving bus tiring.

Mobility-friendly notes.

The clinic is street-level on Marine Drive with a flat entry. If you are using a walking aid in the first week — common after lower-limb injuries — call us before the appointment and we will make sure the path is clear. If a family member is dropping you off, there is room for a brief pull-over at the front of the building.

For appointments where stacking physiotherapy and registered massage therapy on the same day makes sense, tell us at booking. We can usually sequence the two so you do not make two separate trips while you are still sore.

Getting to the clinic: common questions.

Can I park at the clinic?+

Yes. There is on-site parking at 1325 Marine Drive plus street parking nearby. Check posted signage for time limits. If you cannot drive yet, transit and rideshare options are listed below.

What if I cannot drive yet because of my neck pain?+

Tell us when you book. We can usually space appointments to give you time to recover between sessions, and we can advise on safe driving criteria. Rideshare or a family-member drop-off is the standard fallback in the first week or two.

Is there transit to Marine Drive in North Vancouver?+

Yes. Several TransLink bus routes run along Marine Drive between Lonsdale Quay, Park Royal, and beyond. Confirm the current route on the TransLink site — bus numbers and schedules update periodically.

Do you do home visits if I cannot leave the house?+

We do not offer home visits at this time. For patients who cannot reasonably attend the clinic in the first 1 to 2 weeks, telehealth screening can bridge the gap until you are mobile enough to come in.
